Very breifly and looking at locally delivered vehicles your models look like this
TA22 (1st gen)
TA23 (1 1/2 gen)
RA23 (1 1/2 gen)
RA28 (1 1/2 gen)
RA40 (2nd gen)
Your TA series came with 2T-C 1600 engines and weighs in around the 1100 mark
your RA series came with the 18R-C 2000 engine and weighs in around the 1150-1250kg weight bias is slightly toward the front from memory somthing like 56-44.
General problems - any engine that ends in "C", Rust in these is very common and it is getting very hard to find a good example of a standard one with little rust. Parts are starting to get hard to fine esp front and rear bumpers
your TA22, TA23, RA23 are a coupe shape
RA28 is a lift back (or the Mustang shape)
the RA40 came in both coupe and liftback (cockroach shape)
The RA's can accept a good selection of engines ie
18R-G
18R-GEU
1G-GTE or GE or GZE
3SGE or GTE
1JZ-GTE
Listed in order of difficulty
Diffs are weak if you put alot of power through them
brakes at the front suck.
That about all I can fick off the top of my head
Searching will reveal all

Hi,
I would of thought the TA22 weighed in around the 940-950kg mark, rather than 1100kg.

Sorry River No news as yet.
My brother blew the 7M-GTE in his MkIII Supra and after failed attempts to get him to do the ultimate conversion (18R-G into MA70) I've had to settle for swapping in a 1J-GTE instead.
Some people just won't learn.
I'll start keeping people posted when I find the electric fender mirrors.
