when installing aftermarket cams (on a 4age) do you use the factory timing marks on the timing rings (the little indent? on the side of the teeth on the timing rings) or do you need to figure out a new tdc position to line up with the match mark on the rear timing belt cover? Confused i'm stressin, i need to get this done today!!!!! any help is appreciated, thanks heaps fellas

No, Bolt them back on and line them up as usual.
I don't know if you could possibly put them on 180d out etc..
If you not 100% sure then turn the engine over manually to make sure there is no conflict.
