1992 Soarer TT Wrecking Wed, 04 May 2005 01:08 Go to next message
Hi guys,

I am currently wrecking a Soarer 1992 1JZ, and currently have pretty much the whole car. The car was taken out down the passenger side, so that side is all pretty much rooted. Under the hood and boot and drivers side are Factory Standard Green with the light grey interior.

Engine has compression of 150 to 160 on 1,2,3,4 and 170 or 5 and 6. Blows smoke at very high RPM otherwise drives fine. Smoke is from engine not turbos as I have rebuilt turbos and had them checked out. Rebuilt turbos are not for sale but have stock ones that are with the engine.

Anyhow any questions or queries please pm or email me.

Speed sensor? The digital display?

The front bar has a hole in it, the front lip is already sold.
People must really chew those up a lot, everybody wants it.

What's an Auto Loom go for?

Also have the ECU ($80), fuel is already gone.
Anybody need a 1JZ to work on, $600 (1JZ only)
Turbos, working fine no smoke ($150)
Diff stock ($100)

Turbo Timer (GReddy, one button missing works $50) can get photos.

Wheels, 18" Nakang 90%+ rubber, x4 ($800) comes with 3x 18 inch mag wheels (one is destroyed from accident), one has gutter rash other two are fine. Excellent for drifters.

I am not letting the digital display go too cheap (not too expensive either) I still have it, lots of people asking for it, first one with a decent offer can have it. Its in good nick, all lights working etc.

Don't know condition of the transmission, is obviously works, but not sure if it changes hard sometimes etc...will ask previous owner.

$150 considering you can sell yours if its just for a colour change. Or if its a replacement...well I am sure from wreckers it would be more.

How much for the woodgrain bits on the dash (and doors)? Where in Bris are you?

And how cracked is the shroud? Where is it cracked? Top? Sides? I just need one piece of it for mine where it's cracked on top.

Diff ration would be normal Soarer TT one, but I have to get the diff checked out. I think its around 4.1 or so.

Shroud has a small crack in the top its like 2 inches long.

Cool, that shroud sounds like it's in better condition than mine is... Mine picked up a rock that cracked the fan and took a big chunk out of the shroud. Could I grab yours and the woodgrain bits from the dash if they are in ok condition? I have broken my aircond vents.

What sort of price were you chasing for the 2 things?
Cheers,
David

PS I'll be down Brissie next weekend, could I pick them up then?
