Is it just im lucky or do all of them blow the terminal off on the diode pack? secondly any trained sparkys know if just repairing the terminal will fix them or and i pissing upwind... pic soon

that was my issue, fixed now with a little creative dremel, wire and soldering work Smile

bloody hell, never seen that happen before.

on the subject of alternators, anyone know where to get replacement brushes?

one of the Reg modules was ingrim so i would say you maybe able to get them via repco or otherwise toyota
