Spotted a Corolla Rally Car on the road this morning
Wed, 04 May 2005 14:43
Was driving behind the Lintott/Jackson ARC Corolla this morning on my way to work. It looked like an actual rally car but I'm not sure.
Looking underneath I couldn't see a rear diff but it had the roll cage, wheels and mud guards on. The sound it made was nothing like I heard before either.
From what I understand, it's Neal Bate's 2004 car.
If it is the actual ARC car, it's cool that he can just take it on the road whenever

Would have been definatly been Neals old car, driven by Lintott.
They run under Rally Rego, which means you can only drive the car in a CAMS sanctioned event or to and from repairs to the car.
The sound you would have heard would be from the anti-lag and rotational idle which keeps the turbo preassure spooled up when the car is off the throttle.
They sound mega cool much better then the rice boy stuff.
