does anyone know where to get coppies of the Swap Magic boot loaders?
i've worked out if you remove the little cover bit of the dvd drive you can use a card (credit, license, etc.) to slide the drive open like with some of the 'special' tools out there but it's no real use unless you have the boot loaders.
why do all the best car games have to be japanese http://www.yukes.co.jp/d1-game/?

but modchips are illegal.
owning them isnt, installing them in the ps2 is.
and since they can only be used for the ps2, its stupid to say they arent illegal.

Mod chips arent illegal in australia.
|
I assume they let you run copied games? I can't see why they'd be illegal. It's your PS2, you can do what the hell you like to it.
Now having copied games, thats against the law. It's like a bong. You're allowed to sell them and own them, just not allowed to use them
|
imagine if u work in a shop selling bong. what r u gonna reply when a customer ask "what is the difference between this one and that one??"

I'm about to do this too, although I think you need a modchip to run the boot cd for the HDD unless you have an original copy of the cd which I think would be zoned for ntsc anyway.....
Still researching but pretty sure thats right. i'll go check again.
