I love these things. Al Palmer has a MINT dark green one. There's pics of it in the thread about his show he held a couple of months ago. I almost decorated the thing when I saw it.

One of them on that site (the dark green one) looks like it has a 20 valve in it. Wonder how many in those pics still have 2TG and how many have had transplants?
A question on the TE27, was it still leaf (like the KE25) or was it 4 bar linkage? I know the ones used in rally back then had a 4 bar setup (I assumed only made for the rally cars), but some specs I have seen indicate a 4 bar setup on the TE27's.

Do you mean $19k for the te27????
I would've thought japan would go with the 4 bar setup if they'd gone with the better engine might as well meet the quality engine with suspension. i'll try and find out if the te27's did come with 4 bar.
There are some awesome 27's on that site tho. I love that black one in the "Street Car" section!!

Absolutely - I recently saw a 'Black Limited' AE86 for sale for around $50k.
Hako suka Skylines fetch an absolute fortune too.

Looking at this shit just gets you keen to do a full-on ground-up rebuild/restoration on something like that. The Sprinter is giving me the shits so maybe it's time to start on my dream TE27! 20V would be perfect in one of them.

I have to get some flared guards when my engine is done!
with a 20v you have to 'massage' the firewall a bit for it to fit. My brother was planning on doing it but gave up(He's a bludger).
I am buying these struts on the weekend from this guy who races in the IPRA with a 20v ke25. I'll get some pics of his car when i go to get this stuff. His car is very nice!!!

What is it exactly that fouls on the firewall?

The heater unit sticks out a bit from the firewall shown here:
Lots of 'massaging' and customizing.

1st-The head on the 20v is a bit longer than the block so you have customize engine and cross member mounts, 2nd-next is your water piping. There isn't enough room for you to run it unless you want the engine mounted where the radiator should be(exaggeration). So you have to push back the firewall to be able to run the water piping and have the engine mounted at a suitable position.

Thanks man. I actually did a couple of 20V-AE86 conversions by converting the cooling system to a RWD one, hence pissing off the rear water stuff and just running radiator hoses from the front of the engine. could be done in a KE too!

Yeah a massaging tool will fix it(i.e hammer, any blunt object used for hitting stuff)
How good is that link!!
AE86slut-Thats cool, i thought the only way was to run a water piping kit, oh well i guess you learn something everyday.
Anyway with that massaging you have to take out the heater therefore(this is what i have been told by an engineer) it will not be able to register. Anyone heard different?
