Ford Rims On A Toyota

Got new rims for my RAV recently. They're copies of the BA Falcon XR8 18" rims. The rims are wrapped in 235/50/18 Dunlop SP Sport 2000 tyres (stock tyre size was 215/70/16). Replaced the Ford centre cap logos with 70mm custom made Toyota logos. Also got Toyota overfender flares. What do you guys think?

Most 5 stud Ford rims are a direct bolt on onto Toyotas and vice versa. 5 x 114.3 stud pattern. The rims i have are +36 offset. I have seen other Ford rims on a Soarer as well as on a Mitsu Magna and Express van.

What ford rims have you seen on a soarer?
I'm not doubting you, not at all, just curious as to what ford rims you had seen on one.
If they were anything like these nice ones on your Rav... well....

measure the centre hole of the wheels (~71mm?)
compare to toyota hub spigot dia (~67mm?)
thats not quite a 'perfect fit'
but whos counting

The Cressida hub diameter is 60mm... Do Toyota use the same diameter on all their cars? The wheels I've got have a 73mm hole so locating rings were required to reduce the vibrations from the wheel not being centred properly.
If I was you mozrav I'd be buying those rings, at least for the front wheels. They are like $8-$10 each for metal ones or $3 for plastic ones.

Anyone know who does custom suspension in Melbourne? I want to go half an inch lower at the front and an inch and a half lower at the rear.

Watch out for the negative camber which may occur at the back... Like my MA61/SA63
Cheers.

Already have negative camber from factory (around -2.0 to -3.0 degrees) but yeh i will get more if i go lower. Will have to keep rotating tyres more often lol!

Your neg camber? Bah... your negative camber is nothing compared to mine!! Mine is just silly.
Oh yeah mozrav, since you're in doncaster, you've probably noticed my car anyways. Low-as-shit '84 Supra with loads of rear camber.

Just an update...found out more about hubcentric rings and yes my RAV has them on all four corners. Also running a Ford 16" x 6.5" interceptor wheel with a 235/60/16 tyre as the spare...looks yucky but gets the job done
