i had some crazy roadrage this arvo, i also have the flu, so my body doesnt even want to move, let alone fight, so i just pulled over and caled the cops, what will they do, just pull him over and give him a stern warning or arrest/rape him

Road rage is taken pretty seriously these days as a few nutters have killed and mamed people lately (most recently some guy in NSW killed a very old guy in rage).
Be interesting to hear what happens in your case.
Got any more details for us? (I am bored, busy but bored  )

mate and i were listening to the police scanner one night and POL-AIR was out chasing someone running about on the ground.
next thing they say that people were calling 000 to say that the police helicopter was flying around over their suburb
i mean seriously what kind of retards call up the emergency number to inform the police that their helicopter is flying about over their suburb.

I got in an road rage indicent once that turned into a bit of a fight and I ended up getting thrown down a driveway & snapping the mirror off the Celica.
I called the cops and it ended up just sounding like a massive headache and in the end I said not to worry about it. It seems with a lot of legal things, unless you have the time & energy its not worth pursuing.
This was like 8 years ago now.. Maybe things are different these days.

my problem is, i know i can fight, i'm 195cm {6'6"} 260lb and i used to box, i know if {most} ppl start me, i can beat them, which will get me in the most shit, not worth it

must of been a fucken frightener of a moment for you to not want to get stuck in...
if you make a formal complaint you'll probably end up in court if they think it's a winner. this will mean at least a statement and probably standing up in court. Without witnesses and evidence this won't happen.
If the idiot decided to take on the cops when they turn up to give him a stern talking to, then it's between him and the cops. In which case, you'll probably just have to make a few statements.
If you withdraw or fail to make a formal complaint, they wont talk to him about the offence but will keep a watching breif on the turd for a while. In effect, they'll use your initial complain as intel only.

if you don't sort it out there and then it's not worth picking up the phone to call the cops.
he will say "it was heat of the moment i was late for work it was a stupid thing to do i'm sorry"
the cops will say "ok we won't persue it"
Unless you belt the crap out of them then they get away scott free.
I'm getting pretty good at controling my temper so i normally let it slide, unless of course he has damaged my car then it's on like donkey kong !

just tell the cops what you thank happened but make it clear that you're not willing to stand up in court ... the 000 call (even tho it was diverted) will serve as a indicator of how serious you thought the incident was.
but don't foget...
in Qld you can dob in a smoky vehicle online now:

dont forget you can always put your work (or old worK) address down on the form. 
and i think there's a 13 number on the motorway for reporting dangerous/unsaf driving as well?
always call it from a disposable phone
