dunno if you'll get that much for it... ae71's pull about that, with a better motor, gearbox, modification potential, and a 5spd manual.
good luck though.
i'll give you 200$

normally get at least 400, sometimes >450 if ive been driving like a grandma the whole tank. Costs me on a completely empty tank with premium at $1.10 about $42
Always put premium in of one sort or another

heh yeah, they do... but you're putting up money for a t50 (which are pricier thanks to ae86's being "desirable" now) and a crossmember... whereas if you can find a ae71, and it costs like $100 more, you're crazy to bother with a ke70.
unless of course you're doing something other than a 4age/t50 deal.. then, well, whatever floats your boat.

This ain't a bad price. I bought my first KE70 for $2000 in mint condition, completely stock, with almost no rust and had rwc and 11 months rego. I'd be thinkin you should be up for about $1000-$1200 if you throw in a rwc (which is required if you transfer rego to someone else)...
Also yeah the conversion process between KE70 and AE71 isn't that hard, if you can find an AE71 at a wreckers, which isnt that rare, you should pick up a t50 + the crossmembers you need for about $100-$150 all up, which really isnt that bad if the KE70 is in mint enough condition...
GL with sale, bump.
Kev.
edit: just to add, I bought my 2nd ke70 with a fair bit of rust, no rwc, no rego and in pretty badly neglected condition (ie. hadn't been washed for 8 months) for $300, so if it comes with a roadworthy, i say take it for $1k
