Old school, sorry only have a set to suit a spare head, what is wrong with your's,
XeNNeX, you need only motor it is you’re for $500 if you need gear box add $100, the whole lot complete $700 all prices ONO.

Very observant of you. Yes it is a RA40 GT, still have the car. But the engine was put in to my RA28 till it got written off just don’t have any photos.

Ahh.. much respect, sorry to hear about that accident.
Off the topic slightly.. So did the ra40 GT come with an 18RG or 18RGeu? im just curious, because i supposedly have a '79 18RGeu and i want to know of its origin.. because they were in a fair few other shaped toyota models in japan in that period, hmmm.. Crostek, dont mean to pry, but did Your GT come with the twin-solexed model or the efi as standard? Its all good if your not sure.

Im very interested.. whats the difference internaly between the U and EU? does the U have more stick purely because of the carbs?

The 18R-GU has slightly higher compression (8.7:1 vs 8.3:1 from memory), and I'd say that's where the power difference comes from.
