Timing for 4A-FC Tue, 10 May 2005 05:52 Go to next message
Hey guys,

simple query, I have a '89 AE92 Corolla Seca with a carbied 4A-FC in it, I want to set the timing and base idle, as i'm sure the timing is way off. Sometimes it runs roughly for a second after I turn the key off, fuel consumption is terrible, and it has no power up hills etc..

I can't find the placard with the timing designations, I have a timing light, so can someone tell me what it should be set to from factory?

Any other suggestions welcome

Thanks,
Dino.

Hope you have a good memory! Smile

Will give it a try, what is the significance of the removal and blocking of the dizzy vacuum lines?
