Just thought I would introduce myself and my project. I have been building up an 86' Toyota Corona (granny's shopping trolley) for quite some time now, and I just wanted to get the opinion’s, weather they are good or not, of what you think of such a project. Following are a few pics of the build up. We have just finished the turbo conversion on the 22R-E and early tuning is giving us 290HP at the treads with a few tweaks needed to hopefully nudge it over the 300HP mark.
The follow two picks (dodgy, I know) where taken at the 2000 Auto Salon, Final Battle and show the car before it was stripped down for further paint, engine and interior mods.
The following pics are of the engine build up....you get the idea. It should be all finished up shortly after the paint work is done. I can't wait to get in there and detail it up to. The car should be ready to unveil at this years final battle Auto Salon.
The following pics are the last I have of the car before I had to pull it down again for the finishing off of the green glitter paint gob. The interior is almost finished to, will allot more of the white and beige leather being spread around the cabin.
Anyway, let me know what you think of this little project. I have had a good look around this forum and id say I will be spending a little more time around here. Sorry about all the pics for the "Dial up" guys. I hope you enjoy them though. Nathan.

The holes in the bonnet hey. Well i could tell you that they are for cooling. The front slits are over the radiator and the 6 holes are over the engine and the hole on the left hand side use to be over the air filter, now it's over the BOV. but honestly, they where originally done for attention/different look. I still don't mind them, they definitely bring attention to the car.
