I was just testing the inputs/outputs and screen abilities. 7" screens are only good for about 50hz, 512x480 res. well my cheapo one anyway.
i had installed the laptop to try and figure out.. how i could install cammeras on the bumper dash/etc and be able to record it on hdd for editing later..

It was a little more work than that, had to wire it all up, hide them all and get the lcd screen in with the instruction is chinese or some thing.

I could use a coffee machine in my car to keep me awake on those boring peak hour drives to work
Nahh actually... wouldn't want to disband the old foot to the floor wake up method.

u need 50watts continous i think for a ps2, so anything over 75watts rms is good.
ur screens look good (: personally if it were me i'd cut a rectangle hole into some mdf the size of ur glovebox and slide the ps2 thru there, vinyl it up with ur stock looking trim so when u drop the glovebox down theres a little display kinda.
im currently in the process of moulding this screen in that position into my dash with fibreglass to make it look as stock as possible.

hehe thanks (: have most of my gear sitting in my room so havent had a chance to test any of the tuning features of it really.
did u ever notice on random play...it just does certain songs...ie. randomizes say...out of 200 mp3s, like 30 or so...
that shits me i know im being picky but need more randomness!

Did you have a little trailer to tow the xbox around?
Honestly i don't see the point of in-car screens, i'd rather just have a portable DVD player i could take anywhere.

Like I said - I installed the equipment to check out the resolution of thh screen.
Purchased the screen becuase you can have it as a navigation system, and play dvd burn't mp3 audio discs (thousands of songs per dvd) My car didn't have it factory.. But most cars these days have options to install nav/screens. I felt like it would be cool to modernise the interior abit instead of spending 30K+ for a new car just to get that option.

No worries.
1. Just shove a screwdriver through your radiator core.
2. Just re-route all your aircon into your glovebox.
3. Get a fibreglass seat, cut a hole in your drivers side floorpan and the seat. Mount TP roll holder to the door trim and you're done!
