Your opinions please

I found a radiator lying around that is pretty well a perfect fit for my ol Celica but the problem is the inlet and outlets are in the wrong positions
And the way I have things setup, I'm having troubles trying to decide where to put the inlet as everything is stopping me putting it in the perfect position
In this first image you can see the outlet from the engine and the area on the radiator I need to connect up.
Currently the filler on the radiator is in the position where the inlet should be, however having the inlet here would make running the water hose a PITA.
I'll also point out that if I had the inlet just below the filler it would obstruct the silicon bend from the intercooler to the throttle body.

I have scribbled on the pictures below where I have been thinking about putting the inlet. I need your thoughts on weather this is a good or bad idea.

So tell me what you think. Thanks

Is it too hard to get the filler section moved? If not, that should work fine.
Just out of interest, whats you plenum made of?

I could remove the filler easily but it wont gain me anything. Unless you can see something I missed
The plenum is made from mild steel for the time being. Once everything is running we'll roll one from alloy.
YelloRolla, thanks for your opinion.

will it effect the flow of the coolant through the radiator? ie what is the passage the water takes throguh the radiator? otherwise i cant see why it would be a problem.

The water outlet will be on the passenger side bottom. The inlet will be on the drivers side top somewhere.
Or are you confused because I didnt mention that the core runs horizontal?

I'm no expert here - but can you simply swap sides ie cut the filler off, cut the inlet off and weld them back on opposite sides.
Don't know if that makes sense?

I can easily cut and weld it. But the thing is I need the inlet to the radiator on the drivers side top.

what about on other side of filler or on the end-tank facing the guard, run pipe down to the chassis rail, change to metal pipe, run along up chassis rail to steering, change back to flexible hose then hop over to engine (where you've already changed the inlet pipe to face towards the guard?)

EVOSTi, yep both the inlet and outlet will be moved to be opposite each other.
Chuck, not enough room over toward the drivers guard once all the other gear is fitted
