 SHIPPING FROM/TO AMERICA, WHAT COMPANY TO USE?

Okay, I've NEVER EVER dealt with anyone international and I'm just wondering has anyone bought parts from America?
The person who is sending it seems pretty trustful but that's not the problem. He's selling me a pair of brand new rotors for $85 and calipers. Sweet. But shipping turns out to be $135, so it's $220USD all up. Not the bargain I expected it to be. Is there some cheap company that someone recommends or is this a reasonable shipping price?

UPS to oz by surface mail can take for ages ... i had a small package (had 8" solid steel wheel along with Ford EDIS electrical bits) take nearly 8 weeks.
UPS by air is much quicker but the cost increases accordingly.
other commercial freight companies (e.g. fedex) charge arm + 2 left testicles and you you probably have to consider insurance as well.

typically USPS EMS air is maybe half the price of UPS or FEDEX, and still only takes a week or so.
surface is better for large packages but can take 3-6 months!!
suck it and send it USPS economy air.. shoulda looked up freight beforehand huh?

othe roption is to get someone you know to carry ti back with them... you have about a 60kg baggage limit from the US..

ive used Fedex and ups and i would recomend both
most takes less than 3 days to your door

thanx for reply guys... i honestly don't have a clue what to do here. i've never dealt with anything like this. would there be high chances where they "lost" my baggage through air mail?
3 days? that's ridiculously fast

There is a VERY high chance they will go missing.
Make sure you use a service which has insurance and tracking numbers and signature required. An extra $100 might save you from getting nothing.
