yeah so did I, that was when the Inspector went to car and got a graphic image picture of where aftermarket gauges can be mounted, this was NSW law, Not sure about other states though.

i had a SX seca, and it had a phantom 5" shift light tacho mounted on the A pillar and the amount of times i got pulled over, no one has ever said any thing (sydney).

Yeah, I have that problem too, I just act as if I didn't know it was illegal and they give me a warning and tell me to remove it. I haven't been issed a defect notice.
