i have a Brochure on this from work. its an Aussie D1 Demo with all the JMS guys u see on the videos and apparently some jap D1 drivers are comming to the 3 events that are on the brochure so it should be good. The guys from Fullock motorsport have info at their website www.fullock.com.au ill be there for sure.

People need realise that a cruise is a cruise, not breaking the law and not going over the speed limit, sure we all have our moments but its a shame people have to teach them selves lessons by hurting others or frightening them selves.
I have learnt the wrong way, nearly hurting my best mate and myself writing off my parents car, NOTE: I WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING out of line with the law, I was driving when there was gravel sprayed on top of tarmac with off camber corner wheels locked due to power assisted brakes no ABS in FWD automatic not a bundle of laughs at all.
Bit off topic but save it for the track.
I think this may be a good reason for maybe not traveling together as a group to symmons plains, people get edgy and find the need for un-needed over taking. Just a thought dont take it the wrong way I like a group drive as much as the next person.

i do agree, its called self control, just think before u do something, obviously if u r going to over take someone up the highway and there are comes coming, it will end in problems. Just take it easy, and if we meet at an early enough time we can just cruise up safely and make it there in 1 peice!
So u guys still interested ? its in a bit over 3 weeks so we have plenty of time to organise it. So lets plan it all now so we can spread the word! and get more people together!
When talking about cruising up its obviously in regards to the simmons plains part of the event! how about we meet up at about 8:15 and leave by 8:30 as it will tkae about 1:30 hours to get up there

I agree with Purps, I think people need to slow down a bit, its not about showing off your driving ability on the road, it should be about showing off your ride. Driving ability should be left on the track! Okay so maybe thats cause I just drive like a granny... Put me in a RWD and I might get excited!

wat about the cruise ey guys ? we should meet at the DEC car park at 8:15pm sunday morning to leave at 8:30. How does that sound if anyone feels like they will go crazy then they don't have to cruise up, but if u feel like u can be senseible then it will be great!!

My bet is that they won't care if you are underage because most people who are on their p's can't be far from 18 anyway.
Mr people Eater: Yeah you are righht i was thinking the same thing but i think we should be ok for a few reasons
1. who can be bothered that early in the morning
2. what would be the point even if we get there in under an hour chances are the line will be that long it will take over an hour to get in.
A guy in a red RA65 wrote his car offf not long ago i heard he hit a pole and nearly killed the passenger the poor guy had to spend 3 days in hospital.
Also I'm thinking about staying in lonnie is there abody else that will be doing this ?

I just found out that ppl from joes garage and alike hired baskerville this saturday for some drifting and everyone is trying to get in on the track aswell. im going to go have a look anyone else coming????????? this saturday 21st of may. should be good to see some spining out and heaps of people fuck their cars. hopefull heaps of nissan silva and "R31Club, club for cars that looks like a box and arent appreciated by other motorists" will be there looking cool pretending they can drive.

My gearbox self destructed this morning on the way to work  any one got a KE70 5spd? I have a 4spd that will have to do, unless I find a 5spd cheap, moonah wreckers want $275
for a K series 5spd same price as a T50! I went off when they told me.

I am thinking I may enter the Driftmania thing at Baskerville on June 11. I will use the old blue corolla. Its not the best drift machine, but its not the best drift track either. But I know the track, sort of. So maybe I should have a go. I need to do some tuning, and it would be good to get to baskerville sometime before that for practice.
Anyway, I will see you all at Basky sometime. I will come up and watch the drift at Symmons also.

Honestly, what's the point of bagging other cars and clubs out all the time, you and TRD_Supra? Besides, you drive a T18 and you're calling an R31 a box? Thats the pot calling the kettle black mate.
I'll be going to Baskerville for a look and as crew for "Racing Service Rochester"  , dunno about Symmons though.
