Hi guys,
I got a few things I like to ask. Now this may seem very simple to some, but I just want to be sure that I connect everything correctly.
I've got a JDM ae86 fuel tank with 3 pipes coming off it I know that one must be the main that supply fuel to the engine, one return and what is the third one?
have a look at the picture can you ID them for me? I've put label on the pic to make thing easier.

Also can someone tell me what each of these pipe are

Thanks guys

I just battled the EFI conversion in my AE86, to know for sure what pipes do what, screw off the plate that the pipes are coming off, and pull this out, it will have your fuel pump attathed to it, then you will be able to see what the pipes do, the there will be one going from the top of the fuel pump (fatter one in the middle) and then there will be a pipe going down to about level with the middle of the pump, this is the return fuel line, and then one will just be poking down from the top this is the breather.
As for those other pipes...
#1 is the fuel feed for the fuel rail.
#2 is where the breather from your brake booster hooks up to
#3 is the return fuel line to your tank
#4 is a vacuum sensor
Hope that helps ya out!
Cheers.

the breather line from your fuel tank ussually takes a convoluted trip around your vehicle to the charcoal canister, which will be mounted under the bonnet - yes your car will have one...

dont think ur 4aC would... it just breaths into the carbon canister... i probly wouldnt block it up but run it somewhere as it wont leak fuel, it might be ok to block up but i wouldnt just in case ,

no - anything from about 1976 onwards shoud have three lines from the tank to the engine bay:
main fuel feed (in an EFI car there's usually a fuel pump at or in the tank)
fuel return (end of port inside the tank will be in the upper part of the tank)
fuel vapour (vents to charcoal cannister - engine burns off petrol fumes, condensate either drains away on a carbi model or is sucked back to the tank in an EFI model)
i would suggest that all three be correctly plumbed up - the fuel vapour venting system, along with the correct petrol filler cap, helps maintain safe pressures in the fuel tank.
If you block off the vents, have a hard-sealing filler cap and then park car in the sun, you will get excess pressure built-up in the tank and will vent flamable fuel vapour via the petrol cap and also do weird things to the fueling system. You will also get petrol fumes at the rear of the car. If the tank is 100% full of petrol, you might even get petrol leaking out from the filler hole.
Conversely, the wrong charcoal cannister, or lines left open under the bonnet can lead to unpleasant petrol fumes at the front of the car.
