most annoying aw11 problem (wont start)

I have had a problem for the past 2 months that I cant quite put my finger on.
First thing in the morning if I start the car it is fine.
If I turn the car off and start it 5 mins later it will turn over very slowly and doent start (seems like a flat battery)
So I have replaced the battery, checked the alternator checked all wiring for the alternator and the starter motor. all fine
It seems that after about 3 or 4 times of trying to start the car in these conditions the battery will drop in voltage to the point where it wont even turn over at all.
Sometimes if I open the engine bay and close it (causing a vibration to the engine bay) the car starts no problem. They say to tap the starter but this seems to work.
Are these symptoms of a faulty starter motor?
any help would be much appreciated!

yup get the starter rebuilt. mine had exactly the same problem.. until i fixed it i was constantly in fear of parking somewhere i couldnt push the car from
looks pretty bad when you are at the engineers workshop claiming the car is all legit, then the blue slip place, the the rta and you have to push start the car
new brushes and points in there and it kicks over first try every try..

the inlet side mounted 4agze starter is different to the exhaust side mounted 4age starter. if they were the same i would of used my 4age one.
