does anyone know if the 7AF can be used in rwd configuration? Is it the same style of block as the 4AG? i am just curious about it!!

Yes it can, though you'd need to make the water cooling system plumb like a FWD. That means the in & out pipes have to come from the back of the head, on the left hand side.
The other problem is that the large water outlet & thermostat housing on the rear of the head takes up a lot of space so making a fabricated housing and using a 4AGZE remote thermostat would help a lot there.
The block is basically the same as a 4AGE block, but a bit taller.
