hi i have 18rg and a 18rc and i was going to rubuild the 18rg useing the 18rc botom end will it work

Yes it will work.
Many things need to be done to make it work properly.
Myself and many others have explained what needs to be done right here in these very forums. however the mian thing in ur -case is re-drilling the dipstick bosses. (doesnt have to be done but makes it alot easier to check ur oil. the 18rc crank and rods are slightly different to 18rg in how they are made but will work.

if u have a 18rg i dont see what the reason for the question is. just throw the rc away and rebuild the 18rg then u will have no problems. DO A SEARCH

i did exactly that but was on a tight budget, if you hvae all the rg parts lying around but want to use the rc block then there aren't any dilemmas.
i used the rc crank and rods as well but i won't be pushing my engine that much.
the dipstick on the other side is just a mild annoyance when checking which is done almost all of once every few months.
besides it keeps the exhaust side clear of anything that might go in the way of the supercharger/turbo setup Smile
