importer in melbourne has an aw11 lsd tranny for sale. can be easily converted to fwd for corolla fitment.
ask is $800 ono (+ shipping)

no, but i know where i can get a pair, and all the engine mounts... and possibly another lsd box, and alot of other aw11 mr2 parts as well....

p.s ill be down in melbourne next weeks with our race cars for the supercar meet at sandown so will swap you a couple of tickets aswell as the money for the axles if the person that has them wants to bring them to the track, will even show them around the pits if they come out to the track.

LSD axles?
You mean LSD transaxel or the axles themselves? (cause the axles are the same for the non-lsd E-51)
Anyway Toby im interested in the LSD box and axles together if the price is right

no the e51 lsd inner drive shaft is longer ! i have an lsd box and a open box and open drive shafts for the e51 and they are shorter. think its about 15mm. i can space it but id much rather the right drive shafts

Thats quite a bit of difference.. if anything I would have thought the LSD ones would be shorter.
Shoudlnt be too hard to make up a spacer plate that bolts in where the shaft splits in the middle though (with a exact measurement of the difference).

lsd tranny is in melbourne.
driveshafts, engine mounts, and possible another lsd tranny (according to the build plate anyway) are in NZ. (wrecked s/c car - and no you can't have the glass t-roof & tail-lights! - they are going onto my car!!)
by the way there are actually 2 types of e series diff centers - and not necessarily lsd either! - so there are 2 types of inner c/v's!
thinking about it, i might know where there is another set of s/c driveshafts in vic.......

 i need another lsd box... the one i have now is getting a bit notchy in the gears...grinds a bit downshifting back to 3rd..
but $800 thats a hell of a lot for something i've been quoted at $350-450.....

so buy the $350 box...
(it was $800 ONO!!)
but from ecperience (well a friends actually) the guarenteed lsd box miraculously lost the lsd during shipping interstate.....

hey i'm not taking offence - it's not mine anyway....
there is this rumor that all e series gearboxes are lsd - which is crap.
thing is, after you have paid for a box that's interstate, and it's been shipped to you, it then becomes your problem. (you going to ship it back? seller going to answer your e-mails or offer you a refund? don't think so!)
open centered 4agze series box is worthless.

I have a MR2 LSD box you can have for a couple of hundred bucks. It has broken a pin in the box. You can use 3rd but you have to hold it in. If your interested give me a yell.

gearbox is sold - to a guy in WA doing an upgrade on his mr2 (for $750)
spare driveshaft set in melb. will be available in march - after the owner gets his car running and is sure he does not need them)
