You offered a singular dollar amount, when your first post suggested that your offer would be of multiple dollars  It would have been polite/correct to at least offer $2 
Make a reasonable offer and it can be yours

I'm keen on a swap with cash adjustment for an AC compressor, but like I said, mine is missing one of the hoses, which seems to make it useless to you
