hey people..
im going to look at a corolla tomorrow.. its a twin cam ae82
its 500 bucks... sounds cheap!
But......
needs respray..
new clutch.. and is unreg
doesnt have air con or pwr steer
as far as i know the body is pretty straight and the motor still goes well...
what do u think?.. yes or no?.. or should i try cheaper?
please help.. thanks!

well always have to try for cheaper 
but unreg also means more money getting it over the pits.
needs everything fixed that needs to be fixed, needs a immobilizer, gotta pay inspection fees, and pay for the license.
it all depends on what ure after!

i really want a twin cam.. but yeh.. spose it could be a project.. but im not sure if im wasting my money..

NRMA Inspection - $50
Buy car - $500
Respray in standard colour - $1000 - $2000...
New Clutch - $500 - $1000...
Stuff that needs to be replaced to be able to register - $______???
Rego + Green Slip - $700 or there abouts...
Just have to add it all up and think about it man...
Also, rust will be a factor, fuel filler, front and back screens, top of firewall, roof gutters, rear wheel arches and bottom of doors are commom areas...
