Is it on the road? I am still looking for a cheap rolla. $12,000 for the 1G-GTE AE86 sprint is a little out of my range. Got offered a GZE AE92 for $8,500.

Yours would be pretty perfect, thin is I live in Townsville and would have to fly down to Brissy and drive it back up.

Its driveable...

But not registered at the moment.

I have a guy coming round to supposedly put a deposit on it an a day or two, so I'll let you know what happens.

If it falls through, I will update this thread.

Cheers

The other picture at the bottom is just the standard 13" alloy you'd get with most stock sprinters these days. From memory I have the centercaps lying round somewhere as well...

Those rims (on the car in the first piccie)are 16x8's
NFI what brand or offset (although they were offset, otherwise they'd never ever fit in there) heheh

I can find out later today though

I was considering buying them, but they were re-drilled

and the pacing that I give to cars, I would prefer not to have redrilled rims...

But admitted, they looked very Awesome, orgasmic infact...

specially with the uber-low profile Azenis on them !

215/45ZR16's

These are still available if you are genuinely interested. Can get a price by later today... But they aren't cheap
Specially with the good nic Azenis on them. From memory about 90% or better tread.

If you want to put these onto a sprinter, you WILL need coilovers or equivalent mods in the front end. Otherwise they just wont fit in with the stock springs, heheh. Trust me, I tried with my brother's KE70 and the springs just wouldn't allow it.

More pics of the rims / rubber

Re: FS : Brisbane 4A-GE AE86 Price Changed $3400 obo Fri, 29 November 2002 00:56 Go to previous messageGo to next message
No RWC, hence the sale unregistered...

As far as the transport department cares, the engine conversion isn't a hassle...

For their records they write down "4 cyl 1600cc n/a "

Stock Aussie AE86 = 4 cyl 1600cc n/a
Converted / Jap Spec = 4 cyl 1600cc n/a

Apparently they couldn't give a toss if its now twincam and EFI, cause most of the women that work at QLD Transport wouldn't even know what Twincam EFI is...

But to answer your question : No Compliance plate

Might consider a Swap for a Stock Corolla (KE70 / AE71) Up To $1000 worth (decent body, engine doesn't matter) + Cash Adjustment

So the car is drivable with a dint in fron quater panel and a little rust. Driveable I mean how far off RWC and did you say it comes with a spare busted T50 box and a spare radiator? I am in Townsville but have relatives in Brisbane that may be able to get you the cash you need and they can freight it up to me. It will be a bit more hassel on your part but I will see how I go try to oganise a relation to come have a look at it. How far away are you from Aspley?

One of the Retreads is delaminating...

You wouldn't drive back to Townsville on these tyres, but I have no choice since the stocko 13" rims I have won't clear the calipers...

Roadworthy all depends on who's doing the roadworthy...

My personal opinion would be to fix some of the rust, get new tyres, fix the broken indicator stalk and go for it

But having said that, there are Nazi's out there that might knock it back for something stupid...

I have no probs with u sending ur relative to look.

I would not drive the car back to Townsville, would get it put on a truck and transported up (any idea what that would cost by the way?). Will try and organise a relation to have a look at it (I hope I can). How does $3000 as is, any higher than that then name your price. Email me at jarredfoley@hotmail.com

Will need contact details too, so if I can get someone to come have a look at it they got some way of getting in contact with you. But don't rely on me for you sale, if someone else offers you a sale then go for it. But I will try my hardest to organise it. please email jarredfoley@hotmail.com

That must have been the fastest depreciating Sprinter yet ... $100 off each day. Shocked

Wasn't this on offer a while ago for only $1,800 on the Twincam forum?

Cheers!

Re: Brisbane 100KW 4AGE Sprinter SOLD! Wed, 04 December 2002 05:01 Go to previous message
Very Happy

I tried seeing what I could get for it...

I started out at $3700 and there was interest, but no bites.

I had to get rid of it by this weekend, so I didnt really car dropping $100 a day Smile I knew it would sell...

It _was_ for sale in the twincam16 forum, but I paid more than it was advertised for there $2500 (wont say how much is sold for though)
