Windscreen rules in Victoria Thu, 19 May 2005 23:45 Go to next message
I just got a report back from Ultra Tune for my RWC, and said that i have to change my windscreen because it is sandblasted. They said that pebbles have made tiny specles on the windscreen. Would like to know if its a rule here to change it because of that even if the windscreen isnt cracked.

Just chuck some RainX on it... its a polymer coating that is designed to help rain clear from your windscreen, however, it also fills in those tiny little "sandblasted" looking pebble marks.

i think this is a scam to keep the windscreen industry happy, they arent all that expensive, like 150 bucks fitted or so.
