Hi,yeah if you are fitting 1j into cressi mx83 or a 70 series supra you could help me as I need to test fit some dump pipes for 1j to suit these cars. They should fit well but I need to be certain before sending them off in the post.
I will happily remove and refit your stock exhaust if you are leaving it on.Alternatively, should you like what you see i will discount the pipes and fit them for you if you wish.please dont think this is a sales approach-it is not.I just need to ensure the fit is good with no issues.ie.co2 sensor fouling etc.
Obviously things need to be at the stage where the engine can be placed in the bay or it can be in the bay with no Y piece between the stock turbos.MUST be stock turbos. An engine in the car with stock Y piece on is no good as the bloody things are too difficult to remove with engine in IMO.
I have an engine lifter etc if required.Thanks.Pete.

Yep, I've talked to him in the past and will look at working something out when I get around to it...
Your forgetting the engine bay has to be painted charles It's not even CLOSE to going in lol!
Have you thought about getting a front cut thats going to the scraper?
Cheers

Hi Wilbo, yeah I have a front cut here as I am too much of a cheapskate hoarder to let it go.Problem is I am too bloody lazy to drop the engine in.Havent got mounts.Just looking for that illusive perfect opportunity where all is in place and its easy.
People have the impression that its hard to fit the dumps when the engine is in but the hard part is actually getting the stock Y piece OFF.But i guess anything gets easy once one has done it a few times. There is a definite order of bolts in for example. If you do it in the wrong order its almost impossible.
Of course I can only speak for my pipes which are two piece in relation to fitting with the engine in,some designs may need to be fitted with engine out.Dont know. Its not easy to get the bloody things easy to fit thats for real!Have had my share of screw ups! Cheers.pete.
