Defected... need some help

long story short, driving a long doing nothing wrong, stop at a round about, who do i see a HWY patrol, i give way to other cars, he does a U-turn and blocks off the traffic, all so he can follow me and says reason is for RBT, so he defects me now... usual bullshit, pod filter, bucket seats, but its minor defects, i was just wondering anyone know any people that are lenient to get defects cleared at those blue slips places, as i dont have stock suspension for my car
he noted my car is a supra, when its not... i have driven my car and a another even more modified car in my area for 4 years now, and not one single problem until today of all times, in the morning on my way to get some food.

Your car has illegal mods - you knew that.
Why are you crying to us, go cry to your mates you were trying to impress.
MORE IMPORTANTLY,
how good does Toymods look if you go around asking for someone to illegally wave your defects. Its all apart of having an illegally modified car. If you cant handle the fines for ur mods... get out of the kitchen.
Or build it legal, duh! ya wanker

You shouldn't have an exposed pod anyway. Sucks hot air in from your engine bay. So while the reason for the rule is stupid, the rule itself isn't.
And what are you, a cop boudan?

yeh pod filter's are illegal, biggest crock of shit ive ever heard. Sorry to hear about your defects, random, yeah right
Anyway, just try find someone willing to loan you some suspension just until you go over the pits. But if he filled in the as "Vehicle: Toyota Supra" or something, take it to court

If you didn't actually get defected for your suspension then I don't think the people you take your car to will care. Otherwise I know of a place in thornleigh PM me if you want the location.
My friend took a car there to get cleared for pod, suspension too low and exhaust even though he didn't change anything since getting the defect. He did pay $50 cash tho...

he did get done for suspension, coilovers etc.
i'm sure he'd appreciate the thornleigh contact, i think it was abit harsh and unecessary
and yes, pod filters are 'illegal', no wait, as soon as you open your toolbox and have your bonnet open, it would be a defect

that sucks johnny, now you'll need to build that air box asap.
clear yor defects and go to an engineer to get everything legalised. engineer reports usually start at 200-250, time to start saving so cash dude.

if you have larger rims, and want to fix your suspension issues,
bunging on some smaller rims with slightly less PSI in them will soften it up enough, got my mate over.
as for your pod, bolt the stock airbox back on for a day, if you dont have one, borrow one for like $10
your exhaust is fine.
as for the bucket seats, you shouldnt have them in there illegally anyway, they are dangerous if they arent secured well enough.

They can be in as secure as you like, but the ADR rules are pretty stict on non standard seats. It's pretty hard to get them engineered aswell if my memory serves.

first of all you can get out of it ifthe ticket is filled out wrong, mate of mines silvia got defected and the copper wrote that is was a 4door.
secondly if you used thestocko seat runners and the seats comply to ADR standars you dont need to do anything there leagal (most seats come with a bit of paper saying that they comply, and if you didnt usestocko seat runners then it hasto be engineered, and if the seats comply it shouldntbe an issue

mmmm This is what i have been told...
I got a yellow sticker 2 months ago for an air filter (pod)
said i needed a permit. Now I went over the pits and as usual they pick out other shit. So... I fix all these other things and said to them "everything is complete I just need a permit now." the guy at the pit lane said "we dont issue them anymore, it is not required anymore" amazingly I looked at the guy and told him thats the reason I had to come over. I then asked "dont the cops know you dont need them anymore?" he replied "no they dont know" I just swallowed hard, but the next time this happens I will take it further.
The thing that pisses me off the most is when the cops poped the bonnet they didnt even notice the big 20V donk in the engine bay. AND NEITHER DID THE PUT LANE!!! the dickhead updated my engine number without even realising!
makes you wonder if these clowns even know what they are on about!

so the next time a police person (policly correct..lol) give me a ticket and for the 3 rd time they write my st162 celica is a 'sedan' i should go and fight the ticket???..cause they have done it twice now but i just went meh only 1 point and they were nice to me bringing the speed down, so CFB with the time and effort fighting but if i get a higher fine and points ticket next time and they call the celica a sedan u think i might get away with it???....
anyways back to the point....yes boudan...your statements you said are true to a degree but you are a wanker for saying then in that toone and shit and i will put u under the "talking them self up wanker that think they do nothing wrong wanker that are alot on boostcrusing.com"
I bet you if i was a cop i defect ya car all the to the wreakers.....so shut up and say something constructive next time and suggest; 1.how he could fix his defect so they are legal and 2.any local workshops that engineer or what ever in his area if u are local to him too....this is how forums get shit from negative coments like YOURS!
with the seat i do also believe that if your aftermarket buckets are ADR aproved and all that other aussie standards stuff and you use your standard rail then you shouldn't need to get them engineered...just get another manufactor piece of paper saying them buckets are complied with them aussie design rules and stuff and carry it with you...and point out to the officer that they are standard rails after this if he still gives u a defect...then that another reason why they get the bad name have!
If it not standard rail and the holes are redrilled in the floor then a 100x100x5mm steel plate (not sure on the thickness) has to be placed on the underside of the floor so the bolt has a good anchor! (this is QLD rules...)
