spotted a white group A at BP Chisholm the other day gave the bloke a wave he had a quick look at my car then gave me a wtf sort of look

Yeah sorry dude, that was me Embarassed

I was in another world - trying to get my 4 year old in the car before he got run over!

My "wtf look" was probably because I only caught a glimpse of your car and was wondering if it was a Group A.

Promise I'll give you a better look next time Very Happy

Also saw a red ST185 this morning in the city. It was lowered over 17" TRD rims from 7th Gen and a cannon exhaust. Anyone know who owns that one?

Oh come on Tristan, be fair. Its only tidy from a distance. To quote an old proverb "she's good from far, but far from good".

You saw where the pain wast peeling on the door, trust me you dont want to see the dodgy job he did on the inside of the hatch.

Yeah no worries. If I wasn't holding up the people getting to the petrol pump and running late for dinner, I would have come over. Next time!

Speaking of Chisolm BP - must be red ST185 season in Canberra because I spotted another one there last night (leaving as I arrived). It had a more subtle exhaust and 'spokey' style wheels. Anyone know it?

No, they were shiny silver.

Meet would be good, but the beach is a long way! I'd be deaf and broke by the time I got there Laughing

Beach would be cool, but requires a lot of organising. Let's keep it local for now. I'd been keen for a Friday night cruise as well.

Thoughts?

Damo, yours looks better than mine!! And looking good from a distance is probably the most important thing really Very Happy . Not like mine when they think "hey, it's a white celica... or is it light blue... or both..." I love 28 year old paint Laughing .

Sexy ride, forced induction! I was the shifty looking guy staring at your car from the ACTION bus... Buggered wiper motors suck the big one. I had big problems with my Lada wipers a few months back. It involved a short that was the biggest bitch to trace. Anyway, I drove to uni one day in bad rain and peak hour traffic... Scary as all hell... When the windscreen is wet, depth perception is shot!

Holy crap!

On Wednesday I spotted my THIRD red ST185 GT4 in a week Shocked

This one looked stock, had the standard mags. Saw it in Mawson at about 6pm. Lady driving it too (not that there's anything wrong with that Laughing )

*edit* re the wipers not working. You could try some Rain X on the windscreen until you fix them. It makes the water bead and roll off, which makes it much easier to see without wipers Wink

Busy week of spotting! I have now, like everyone else, seen YEP-20V spintaaaaah. Yesterday arvo I saw a red ST-185 turning onto Wiluna St. from Ipswich St., and a couple of days ago, I saw an RA23 celica with ST badging in Reid Shocked . It was driven by a middle aged lady, so I'm kinda thinking it was original rather than rebadged. It had roofracks too, and was kinda p00 coloured.

Spotted a very neat white ST185 (looked like a Jap import) on Tuggeranong Parkway this morning.

Had aftermarket wheels and exhaust but I didn't get a good look at it.

The white panda with watanabes is a 20v.

So he literally just needs pop up headlights and fujiwara tofu stickers and the panda trueno is in town... Laughing

If that silver 1st gen celica wasn't forced induction, the only other silver celica I've seen around was a guy in an RA23 + 18RG with a black bonnet and bonnet scoop.

If it was the RA23, the guy that owns it turned up at my house one day and wanted to buy my parts TA22 off me.

He was after a TA22 to put an 18RG in.
