T18 wanted

I'm looking for a T18. I'm after one with a good straight body with no rust. Mechanical condition isn't overly important but a driver would be prefered and not too far away from Canberra.

Not trying to be a forum wowser but the likelihood of finding one of these with 'no rust' is the about the same as finding a virgin working in a knock shop. Why don't you lower your standards a little and get one with some rust and do some resto?
These are funny cars, supposedly cheap and nasty but hard to get a hold of and sought after at the same time.
Ah, life's little mysteries....

Thanks for your help guys.
Bunky, no offence but why should I lower my standards. I know what your saying but my last T18 had no rust. They are out there. The same could be said for TA22s, they are out there as well, like my rally car, it was straight as a die and no rust when I found it and it still is. I'm too lazy to bother with a bit of resto work and I'm not in any hurry to find one so I'll just keep looking

No offence taken mate. Of course you want what you want. Just throwing my 2cents in there. I guess I think of T18's as being available for very little $ and for that you get rust. I mean, not too many '86's have not got some rust somewhere either and they are a bit younger than the old T18. Personally I'd rather pay $700 odd for a T18 with a little rust (which I did two weeks ago), than spend $3500 to $4000 for a pristine one. I prefer to spend my $ on motors and all that other stuff.
Those ones on carsales look good though...
