Yes when it comes to handling for an example pick up a bicycle wheel, hold the axles and spin the wheel you can fell the pull when you try to move the axle now think what it would be like if you doubled the weight of the wheel.

Another vote for Buddy Club P1s. Can't buy these new anymore very easilly, but are secondhand on yahoo auctions - especially 5 stud.

they will reduce the unsprung weight which helps handling and they also reduce the amount of weight the engine has to turn in the driveterrain

Panasport Ultra Lights are around 7kg each for 15 or 16" wheels: comparable to TE37's. FullThrottle sell them:

The Volks come in at 7.2Kg's each.

You might wanna look at Weld Racing too.
It's the "RaceLite R/S" I believe. They're stupidly light. Here are some specs:

Size: 18x7
Offset: 40mm
Bolt Patterns: 4 and 5 lug
Weight: 13.4 lbs
Available Sizes: 17 and 18 inch
Contact: www.weldracing.com

That's about 5 kilo's per rim... for an 18 inch rim at that. I don't think they'd be well suited to our roads with all the pot-holes though. Same goes for any light-weight rim in this country really... stupid crappy roads.
