T series cylinder block castings

While speaking to someone tonight I got to wondering how to distinguish between the early T block casting (will not fit 3T crank) and late T block casting (will fit 3T crank).
I presume the casting number would change between the units?
In that case, is 11411-28010 the later casting? I think it is.
