1 piece tailshaft suit W5x series box T18/TA22/RA23 Wed, 25 May 2005 23:06 Go to next message
Hi guys

I have a one piece tailshaft which I had on my T18 with a 3T-GTEU and W5x gearbox. Balanced and painted.

it should suit most early celicas, T18's, Coronas etc... which have a W5x box as far as length goes - "should" because it all depend on if the engine has been moved etc.

I will get the length of it later today hopefully.

It has been modified to suit by some joint called adelaide cv's and shafts or something.. cant remeber, was done years ago - the tailshaft looks near new. It was balanced and painted black by them, and I only used it for approx 5000 km's.

looking for $200 o.n.o

Rob.

Could be interested if it suits an xA6x celica - I'll await your measurements Smile

Whats the shaft diameter?
Whats the total length?
Do you know what the uni's are from?

I am interested.

It's ~134.4cm end-to-end.

I believe it is originally from a Corona Auto... dont know what engine or what year corona..

It was only shortend/balanced to fit in my T18 by 1-2cm from what I remember.

I live at Gorge Road, Newton - if anyone wants to drop past and have a look at it, call me after 1 pm tomorrow on 0417 777 101
and I'll let you know when I'll be home.

I am going overseas on sunday - so any purchases after that will be difficult Wink

I'm considering this to allow me to sit the 1G+W58 a little further back when I do the conversion, but I don't know the length of my stock tailshaft. I'll try and find out.

Just read the Sunday part again... that would be tommorow Razz

the tailshaft is still available - the only thing is that I would need to get my brother in law to post it, etc...
