Hey,

Does anyone know wether the flywheel of a 2jz non turbo will fit a 1jzgte motor, basically trying to get round having a damper flywheel any suggestions??

Yes it will. Of course the clutch will be different too.

You won't be able to use an R154 with such a setup though... you'd have to use a W58.

So is that a yes I can use the flywheel? I appreciate that the clutch type are different but are the cover bolt patterns the same?

The 2JZGE flywheel will bolt up. However if you use this flywheel, you will need to use a W58 gearbox, clutch and pressure (cover) plate.

I got a chromemoly flywheel made up for $370. Too easy. Heaps lighter than standard too.

Where'd you get that flywheel from GT?

Also, I've got a 2JZGTE with a V160 flywheel - can I use this in an r154 (with an appropriate clutch of course!)
