	| I think I read that it is going to be the first all wheel drive turbo car mazda has made since the familia hatch things in the early 90's | |

First wait and see how it compares to the Liberty GT, and then decide.

And Toyota could so easily produce a real competitor to the GT and MPS if it wanted to ....

It's not full time AWD. According to Wheels mag it is normally front wheel drive. Rear diff cuts in when things get slippery.

~That’s mated to a new three-shaft Aisin six-speed manual gearbox only, which in turn drives the wheels via a Haldex-style on-demand all-wheel drive system that can vary torque split from 100 per cent front-wheel drive under normal conditions to as much as 50:50 front-to-rear when the going gets speedier or slipperier.~

I am not that impressed with the Liberty GT. Got rave reviews etc, but it is less than impressive in real life

Tell me what you did not find impressive.

The only main thing I know is that the suspension/wheel package is not as good as that on the 3.0 RB which has Bilsteins.

	| After having been in one, it's performance disappointed me. In truth, for a $50k car I thought they could have done better. Ok, it was beautifully finished like all Subaru's are, and it was a nice car, but performance wise, I felt it left much to be desired. Maybe it was just the way my mate was driving it. Dunno. | |

	| was it an auto or manual, the autos are gay and have like 14kw less and are a lot slower, the manual are supposed to be pretty damn good and my sis's boyfrind tes drove one a couple weeks back and said it hammered | |

	| Yeah, from memory it was an auto. But still, you would expect better from the creators of the WRX. | |
