hihi.......im looking for AE86 rear disk brakes......maybe with diff........i wnat the whole set ......so i can chuck it on my OZZZZ spac 86.........thankQQQQQQ

they don't bolt onto the aussie diff. buy a whole ae86 6.7" diff - it's easier.
ps friend has one for sale in melbourne (complete with hand-brake cables)

The existing 2 piece drive shaft also won't fit and you'll need to get a new handbrake cable as the Aus spec one doesn't fit.

i' converting 1 of my race cars now to a big rear disc. if you dont get what you want this time, email me in a few weeks. I can then sell either a big brake conversion or the Jap spec discs, calipers etc. what am I offered for a jap spec rear end, complete with diff (not LSD)??????.

$150 to $200's only good for a standard Aus spec drum rear. Think you're looking more like $600 - 700 or so. Disc rears with LSD's currently go around $1,300 for AE86's, that is, if you can find one...

you guys are dreaming. if you can still get a AE86 LSD , disc brake rear end for $1300, snap it up cause the diff centre is now $1800 alone to replace. I've been offered $800 for a non LSD disc brake rear with cables etc, and that sounds more like it. Good hunting.

True ... but $1,300 would have got me the LSD rear minus 1 missing caliper & no brake cables. Don't think you'll be finding these parts in your local wrecking yard.
I also got my open diff with discs for $800. Gonna whack in a Kaaz or Cusco aftermarket LSD once the rest of the car is done ...

That's a lot of money to pay for disc brakes the size of a coffee tin lid!
