Does a 2T-GEU plenum+runners fit 3T-GTEU head?

Hi,
just like the title, im wondering if a 2T-GEU intake plenum+runners fit 3T-GTEU head?
I want to plumb the intake from a large front-mount i/c, and the plenum on the 3T opens over the cam cover and it will need an ugly bend right over the motor.. The 2T plenum opens towards the front of the engine bay.
Ive read that the throttle bodies are same diameter, but say it fits up is the 2T plenum up to the task of flowing around 8-10psi efficiently?
would this be an improvement over the 3T-GTE item in regards to flow rate? or really, will it decrease flow at all?
Better still, has anybody done this with their 3T-GTEs and have photos of their intake setups??
Or do ppl mainly use the standard t/b and plenum or go for custom fabricated..
Thanks very much in advance,
Guy

oh gawd do a search
this has just been covered again this week.
.. the nuts and bolts of bolting up the 2T manifold to the 3T block.
.. it will fit with an adapter plate, and some small modification ^_^

yeh i hate to be an asker, i am a big fan of the search button. but i believe that thread was regarding the 3T-C head.
Seeing as 3T-GTEU and 2T-GEU have similar general designs, i hoped the port spacing/bolts layouts could be the same.
I just have noticed a few 2TGEU parts around and wanted to know if it will bolt directly onto the 3T-GTEU twincam 8plug head, not 3T-C or 2T-C pushrod/ohc head.
Thanks anyway i will continue searching.

nodding.
its been done.
the zorst manifolds are compatable between all T Series engines.
I remember my 3T-EU had sexy looking runners, but I can't rem exactly how they attached to the block.
the 2T-EU manifold looks alot better got an intercooled setup.

I'm in the process of modifying my 3T GTE intake system.
I'm going to use the stock runners and do some porting on them as they are a bit small and dont match the port diameters. Then I'll use a bit of alloy pipe and make the throttle body face the front of the engine.
I'll be updating my site soon with these details. I'm also making a crank angle sensor using a mix of a 3T GTE and 3S GTE dizzy setup with my Microtech.
I'll use the stock throttle body from the 3T GTE as I thinks its big enough to flow to achieve around 200rwhw which is my aim.
I'm currently running 14psi and 145rwkw, so 55kw to go....
Will most likely have to get forged pistons soon.,
Cheers,
Simon

Yep, the 3T EU does have nice swept large runners, not sure if it has teh same bolt pattern on the intake as the 3T GTE.
I have a feeling its the same as the 2T, 3T and 2TG.
I did look at this option but in the end decided to stick with the original 3T GTE runners and make the rest.

Simon

Thanks for that input Simon, im very interested to hear how it all goes..
Hmm maybe i should stick with the standard runners and make something up as a plenum chamber, the stock one is really ugly i think when i hae piping up to it over the cam cover.
thanks again,
guy
