btw both motors have had full rebuilds and a turbo conversion and injection is on the cards for the 2t-g motor.

Hi,
Yeah, both nice engines, but I'm the same as above... take the worked 2TG.

The 2T sounds interesting but the 3T will spank it in terms of performance. I know what I'd be getting.

I was in similar situation with my RA28 god 8 years ago now or so..
Anyway decided to tip $5000 into doing up a really serious 18RG engine, had all the gear, hi compression pistons etc.
After while got bored, put a stock standard 3tgte in, and it out performed the 18RG in all aspects. (3tgte cost half the price of the 18rg too!).
If I could go back, I know what decision I would make.

Hi,
Wouldn't the 2TG outperform the 3TGTE when the turbs are put onto the 2TG - considering the 2TG has been stroked/bored out to 2litres?

thanks for ur input guys.
the decision seems to be to drop the 3t-gte motor in, while the 2t motor is being built.
