Hello, I hope someone can help me here.
I am hooking up my oxygen sensor. I had to buy one because I didnt receive one with my motor. There was no plugs there just dangling wires so I am hope I have found the right ones.
Please correct me if I am wrong as this is a bit of a guess.
I have connected the black wire from the oxy sensor to the one on the loom which is also black (as showed in diagram)
I have connected one of the white wires from the oxy sensor to the pink wire on the loom (as showed in diagram)
I have connected the other white wire from the oxy to the brown wire on the loom (as showed in diagram)
I am stumped with the Grey wire now... The only wire I can see remaining is a Dark grey wire with a white stripe.
Inside this dark grey wire there is two dif coloured wires and another sire without a jacket. as you can see in the diagram I have split the casing on the grey wire to reveal one of the wires inside (white casing)the other appears to be red. there is another peice of wire that runs through the middle of these wires. I am not sure if that carries any current or not.
would anyone know of what this Dark grey wire is for??? or if this is the wire I need? I dont have a wiring diagram for this motor. I cant seem to find one. (TOYOTA AE111 LEVIN 4AGE BLACKTOP 20V)
I hope someone can help me as I have a bit of a flat spot and I am only getting 350km out of a tank
and sometimes only 280
Thanks in advance - DAN

I'm pretty sure there are wiring diagrams in the Tech Docs section? (Link on the left)
They're a 4 wire, so you've got the control voltage from the ecu, the signal return, and then the other two wires are for the internal heater. Don't know which wire is which, but for a blacktop the heater does have a resistance of 12.5 ohms or so (silvertop is about 6.5), put a multimeter on it and find which 2 wires give that resistance.
