Who complianced your car? Wed, 01 June 2005 16:11 Go to next message
Hey guys, I'm importing one of the last MR2's under the 15 year old rule.

Just wondering anyone know of any good compliance workshops in Sydney? Could you give me a heads up on how much it will cost? MR2 importers please help me out! Very Happy

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no 15 year rule any more, unless you've already bought your car in Japan at least 6 months ago.

Look up the DOTARs website (don't the address, do a search)

if your car is already approved or it is pre 1989 yuo can bring it in under the same conditions as the old "15 yr rule"

my 15yr import i did the work myself then got my engineer to sign off on it. i was very happy with his service and am comfortable reccomended him. pm me if you want his contact. oh and he is located on the central coast so im not sure if you want to travel that far.

what are you on about? import approval was applied for before the laws changed.
