Hey does anyone know an easy way to adjust the height of the clutch pedal?I know its a ghey question but me and the old man were trying to do it yesterday and its a fukkn frustrating process to say the least..Also we changed the slave cylinder off the 76 to the 73 is there any difference between the two that is making this harder than what it should be?
Thanks in advance for any help provided as I nearly burnt the thing yesterday in frustration..
There is a threaded shaft between the clutch master cylinder and the peddle. You can unlock a nut on that shaft and then turn it around to adjust it and lock the nut back up when you are finished.
This more adjusts the amount of freeplay there is in the peddle before it engages the clutch.
Are you wanting to get the peddle lower to the floor or up more?
With the slave cylinder, there is a ratio between that and the master cylinder and changing the internal diameters of them can make it harder. By changing the bore size you can also change how much peddle travel is needed etc.
