Does anyone know of a good turbo workshop in Canberra?

Before anyone mentions DTS, I am looking for someone who can service/hi-flow a CT26

Anyone had this sort of work done in Canberra?

I plan on removing it myself, so could possibly send it away if necessary.

As far as I am aware no one in Canberra will actually "work" on a turbo, they all send them off to someone else to have that done.

I would not have mentioned them at all As I said above, non that I am aware of will do a high-flow, maybe that place (Cooma Diesel or Monaro Diesel I think it's called) in Fyshwick will do servicing, but probably not (might be worth asking?).

I had my turbo sent off to a guy in Wollongong who does servicing, high-flows, etc. That was done (rebuild, highflow) a few years ago and no problems with my turbo at all.

GCG turbos does servicing and high-flows. You could get a price from them and then just send your turbo straight to them (thus avoiding the Canberra workshop middleman tax).

So in summary: best to send it away yourself if you are able to remove the turbo yourself (should be cheaper and faster turn-around than going through a workshop here). GCG are easy to find on the net and the guy who did mine in Wollongong I have no idea what his business name is sorry.

Good luck.

Thanks, I will try GCG. If anyone is interested, their website is http://www.gcg.com.au/index.htm

They seem to know what they are talking about!
