Can't upload in tech?? Anyway, lucky for trusty imageshack!
Notice how this 88210 head has different cam gears to the 250 and the absence of 'yamaha' written on the front...

please please please measure the valve diameters!!

i want to have a complete list of all the valve sizes of different 18r-g heads!

Now here are some of the pics from my collection, i lost a whole bunch though when i last formatted Razz

# This is a worked 88230 head. i have no idea of the specs, other than i remember it having 45 and 39mm oversized valves (norbie can confirm this, he owns it!)

oh - got some pics of my 88250 head before i got it fixed up - you can see the difference to the 88230 above where the valve bowls are opened up a lot more (which is what i got done to my 88250)

# here is the 88250 exhaust port with valve removed.

hmm all depends on how big ur trying to go. Thats why i want a stuffed 18rg head that i can chop in half to check how much material u can take out. and how big u can make the vavles and seats.

can the same port size and valve size be acheived from a 210 or 250 head? compared to the one u listed?

Also, does anyone know the standard head thickness of the 18rg(or can they measure theres). Just want to know if my heads have been surface grinded. I dont want timing chain rattle!
