Window Tinting

Just wondering if anyone wants it done in the Sydney area...
I have a mate that does it as part of Sentry Window Tinting... He can do it cheaper for mates of mine aswell as me...
It comes with a lifetime guarantee, 99.9% UV protection, 65% heat and glare reduction and is made from titanium/nickel alloy which makes it tougher and long lasting... Also, it will not fade or turn purple as you see many cars that do...
Prices are:
- $180 for 20% all round...
- $190 for 15% all round...
Note: NO FRONT WINDSCREENS...
If you are interested or have any questions, PM me and I'll get in contact with you asap...
You will have to drive out to the Kellyville area on a weekend to get it done aswell...

No,it's a backyard job but it is bloody good quality...
He works with me and does maybe 40 cars a week... He has been working with me for about 2 months and I have only seen one window stuff up and had one bubble in it...
And then, he fixed it straight away...

I was told when i had my windows tinted that 35% is the legal limit commercial cars aus wide.....

xx% means xx% of sunlight gets through the tint so yeah 15% lets LESS sunlight in then a 35% tint.
for post 198x cars, u can go as dark as u like but for pre 198x cars, you must have at least 35% or greater... otherwise you will have trouble getting ur pinks

I thought it was April or May '94.
The 35% rule only applies to the driver and passenger windows. The rear passenger windows and the rear window can be anything you want.

The pre 94 rule applies to when you had the tint done, not what year your car is. Well, according to the guy that did my twinky. I asked for a 20% and he just said he cant give me a receipt so he wont get into trouble for doing something illegal, though he was happy to help with any probs I may have had. I had no probs.

Yeah, the law that came in during '94 outlawed the fitment of tints darker than 35%.
But there's no way they can prove whether you got your tint before or after apart from your car's year of manufacture...
I was offered a 5% tint, but that's just too crazy. You'd have to drive with the windows wound down at night............ It really is dark!!

20% is fine for me at night.
Reversing is a bit of a hit and miss affair though since my reverse lights aren't hooked up....

The date is August 1994...
Soarin, he can do any car... 15% will be no problem...
Karl, I don't think 5% should be a problem...
Okay, today I got prices...
Yes, he does do metallic/reflective tinting but it is nothing like the Rally cars...
To remove tint it is $50 cause it's a pain in the arse... It can take up to two hours...
Limbi, he can do your car for $250... That is removing old tint, aswell as putting the new stuff on...
Justin, it will cost $140 for you in 20%...
There we go... I hope I've answered everything...

Andrew, I'm not too sure what price you're looking at...
Give him a call and see what he reckons... Just explain what tinting you're after...
Limbi, same goes for you... Give him a call to organise shit...
The prices that I gave you are discounts so you must mention that you know me...
Just say that you are Ben's friend from Chatswood Toyota...
His name is Tom and his number is 0416 135 314...
