nother dilemna in the 1jz conversion... NB people get a front cut save some dramas!!!
i need engine mounts.. i am waiting to hear back from a mate that can get me the "engine mounts" but now i have been told that i will have to source the "alloy mounts that bolt to the block"
ok i have a jza70 cross member and a 1jz from a jzz30 soarer... i called several hundred wreckers today and one of them managed to summise from what i told him that i am after the alloy brackets.. he then proceeded to tell me that i can also use the ones from a 1ggte or a 7mggte as they came in the supras as well? can someone please tell me who is on glue in this equation?
Any help as always will be taken with deepest gratitude.. i just want my soarer back

The alloy mounts aren't that hard to come by - there's a few different kinds of them for different cars though. The issue is the rubber mounts that go between them and the crossmember - these have a lovely little habbit of breaking.
ok cheers mate... i think the brackets are motor specific and the rubber ones are cross member specific yes? well then i need jzz30 brackets and jza70 mounts... not too hard after all? someone correct me if i am wrong as i know people like to do
