Engine Computers (1G, 1J, 2J etc) and Injectors
|

All,
Anyone looking for a factory Toyota Engine computer?
I can supply the following in either Auto or Manual:
1G-GTE
1JZ-GTE (both VVTi and non-VVTi)
2JZ-GTE
1JZ-GE
2JZ-GE
3UZ-FE (Auto)
Prices range from $200 to $500 depending on model.
I can also get 2JZ-GTE injectors (440cc) - about $480
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Paul.

Manual 2JZ-GTE Computers are $500. These are the hardest to get.
I actually live in Japan so I source all these locally. Please note that whilst I only get ones that look to be in good condition, I buy them as is, and then sell them as is.
This is not a business for me, I usually only bring back stuff for friends, but I have some extra stuff at the moment. So if anyone needs anything, let me know.
I can basically get any engine computer here, 4A, 3S etc.
Thanks,
Paul.

Manual 1JZ-GTE ECU's are $450. They are harder to get than Autos (Autos are $350).
Thanks,

Do you know if 2jz injectors can be fitted to a 1g injector rail or would I have to go custom rail?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do. I mate of mine has done the upgrade. Idea upgrade for a 1J. I was going to go that path, but found some 2nd hand 540cc injectors. A lot more money though..
Thanks,
Paul.

Whoops... Sorry I thought you said 1J fuel rail. Don't think they would fit a 1G rail.

Yeap, Japanese 440cc 2JZ-GTE injectors fit in a 1JZ-GTE. The American 540cc 2JZ-GTE injectors fit but are a different resistance.
I might be able to get aftermarket 1G-GTE injectors, but 2nd hand aftermarket stuff is usually dearer than 2nd hand factory stuff.
Look at about $250 for a Gen3 1G-GTE Auto ecu. You would need to tell me how to tell the difference though. I'm not that much of an expert
Also, 1JZ-GTE injectors are 380cc.
Thanks,
Paul.

Finding specific parts for certain models is difficult. If I found one, I would imagine a second hand one would be around the $1000 mark. Thats a guess though.

Hey Pete,
Its $480 total for the six of them. I usually only buy small stuff that I can bring back easy. Guards don't usually fit in my suitcase
I'll let ya know if I find a LSD.
Thanks,
Paul.

The problem is that I have no way of testing it. I don't have 1Js 2js 1gs etc lying around to test them. So, I get someone a computer, they reverse a few wires by mistake (most of this is for conversions), and fry the computer. They then say that the computer is no good. I'm out of pocket. I've been burned before and seen others do it importers. Minority wrecks it for the minority. So, I buy as is, and sell as is.
More than welcome to hear suggestions....
Thanks,
Paul.

ReQuieM, what do you mean by standalone? Factory 1JZ-GTE Manual ecus are $450, Autos are $350.
T, I've got a 1UZ-FE ECU on its way. $400. Think it out of a
Celsior.
Thanks, Paul.

Standalone as in an aftermarket one. like a wolf 3d ect. for example. i would rather run a 1j in my Mk2 off an after market rather then the stock one.

Paul,
fyi i can buy soarer/ls400 (celisor) type ecu's from a toyota wrecker for ~$220 each - with warrenty. i think your prices are a bit steep.
ls400/soarer type is useless for me as it has the combined auto ecu with the engine ecu - crown does not.
thanks anyway
