A340 oil

I've done a search here and other places about oil for A340's, and the general trend seems to be towards Toyota Type IV, however, any of the local auto trans guys I talk to seem to suggest otherwise. I'm tending to like the idea of the Toyota oil, but just want to hear anyone's experiences good or bad.
The trans is for the bogan 1JZ XF, with a shift kit, fairly large cooler, and will be copping lots of abuse

My crownwheel and pinion is that the word you're looking for is 'I rection'
VIC? be damned. Much too expensive. You can get Old Crow in the value-packed big 440ml can, and it's black to boot!

Toyota Type IV seems to be the go. I just had my transmission flushed out, told them to use Toyota Type IV, but they used Penrite Dextron III. Seems to go fine though.
