Aren't 3 horns enough ?
I had a Gen3 Vienta, and it used three horns (regular horn and 2 hidden ones) and it was damn loud. You couldn't be within 15 metres of the car without your ears hurting.

Post hoor
Has anyone actually put alarm horns INSIDE their car ??
good place to put it would be near the rear of the car so the would be thieves will have difficulty reachin them and trying to disarm them !! whaddaya reckon ?

Yes 3 of them...
One is the regular horn in the front grille. The other is up near the back of the engine bay, right in front of the driver. I'm reluctant to say where the 3rd one is, cos it's hidden and took a while to find. It's buried in a body panel, so virtually impossible to tamper with, but still frigging loud.

Those screamers are so loud, the person would have to get out of the car because of the pain before he could stop them. Especially in such a little cabin (like an RA60 ) That would be a bit of a deterrent.
Plus, they would have a really big ringing effect in your ears, so it would be hard to tell where they are in the first place.

And with the stupid laws in this country, you will get sued and loose to the thieves for damaging their hearing.

as far as i know u can add them onto the origanal system, where to add it im not sure, but if it has the horn behind the o/s/f strut tower next the the brake mastercylinder, i would just add it onto that one

if i eventually put an alarm in my celica i would like to hook up all my speakers and put a few nice screamers in the cabin, i think that would make theives get out fairly quick.
has anyone tried hooking speakers up to an alarm?
