88kw FWD 4AGE with Sensors + Computer - suit AE82 Conversion

Fellas,
I have a 4AGE FWD Blue Top engine complete with TVIS, manifold, sensors, computer, loom etc for sale. The engine was a replacement for a dud one sent up to me from Japanese Motorsports but I got a replacement engine elsewhere in the meantime so now this one's got to go.
It's currently at the transport depot awaiting collection so even I haven't laid my eyes on it but everything should be there for a FWD conversion. I'll add more details when I see it next week however I don't know much of its history other than it's the usual import engine from Japan.
Looking for around $750 all up but can be negotiated for a quick sale. Will not separate parts as I believe it to be a complete engine package minus the gearbox.
I'm in Brisbane but can organise delivery interstate. Ideally this would suit anyone looking to convert their 4AC AE82 to FWD.
Send me a PM if you're interested. Could make a nice Christmas present.
Cheers!

Actually, to tell the truth, I'm not too sure as I haven't seen the package yet. JMS were good enough to send a replacement 4AGE but I was told by the courier that the whole package weighed 200 kg's. I've weighed a basic 4AGE before and it came up surprisingly around 100 kg's or so dry so there might be a gearbox attached but I'm somehow doubtful JMS would be that generous.
I'll certainly update this thread when I do see it with my own eyes. Looking for a quick sale so may go as low as $600 for everything. Will view the motor next week hopefully but letting you all know that I have a 4AGE which I don't need anymore.

Hi there people ... I tried to take photo's of the engine today but it was put into storage at the transport depot. Only available for viewing during working hours so that would have to wait another time.
Okay ... first thing, price. I realise what you all say is half true but bear in mind that import wreckers charge $750 for a basic 4AGE either FWD or RWD. For that, all you get is just the engine ... nothing else as far as I know so no ecu, loom, sensors etc.
I will be dropping my price to $550 BUT for that price, that includes the 1 motor, extra such as TVIS Fwd manifold (so there's 2 in all), ECU, all sensors including MAP, loom, new set of Toyoda Magnacore spark plug leads (they don't fit me RWD 4AGE ... ), spare bolts & pieces including extra used water pump, extra FWD extrators etc etc. Things I don't really need any more.
Pictures to be put up tomorrow of these extra's hopefully.
What you are looking at is a complete engine package + couple of extras. May drop to $500 if it goes quickly but that would be it. Otherwise, I'll just hang onto this & use it as a spare.
And because it's sold as a complete package, I won't be separating it. You can look for MAP sensors but I know that Toyota charges $280 for a new one up here in QLD and as for finding one in Qld, they are around but many wreckers are smart enough now not to separate them otherwise it makes their engine package unsaleable. How I know? I had to bloody drive all the way up to Strathphine to get one for my RWD engine so no separation of parts.
Also, I still don't know if it has a gearbox. The motor when I saw it last week was wrapped in plastic but I could not see the bottom of it. However I could definitely see the TVIS manifold, valve covers etc. Even part of the steering rack + bushes were protruding from the wrapping but had been cut off abruptly with an oxy torch. Could be a front cut minus the body panels. Not charging for a gearbox but if there is one in there, guess it's my loss and the buyer's gain.
Cheers.

Any idea how much it would cost to be freighted back to S.A??
And apart from a EFi fuel tank is there anything else that i would need to do the conversion (ae82 4ac) that is not included? also pics would be really good!

Hmm im still very interested, depending on transport costs
the extra fwd extractors u mention are they standard 4age xtractors or are they better ones?if they are standard i won't bother, the only extras i would probably need would be the leads and wiring loom and a little baggie of nuts and bolts
Sorry to mess u around but if u could get me a estimate on transport to sa just the engine, loom, lead, nutznbolts (im sure u could stash them in the engine package somehow) I don't think i'd need the extra t-vis manifold
Thanks a lot

Hunty, I have someone already interested but I will check postage costs for you. The transport company couldn't give me a definite figure today but I'll chase them tomorrow.

Thanks for all the queries so far. I do have someone who's coming to look at the engine this Saturday. In the event that it does not sell, I'll then contact each one of you's (Hunty then 87Seca) if you're all still interested. Sorry but this person has already given me a firm commitment since Sunday that if everything's in order, he'll take it. He's in Brizzy as well which makes it easier for me.
Hunty ... bloody transport depot is useless mate ... am still awaiting their quote but for an engine, I'll say you're looking at $100 to $150 or so for everything.
Price is currently set at $475 for everything as I have to move it all by this weekend. It'll be at my place if it does not sell this weekend. By then, I'll be able to confirm once and for all whether there is a gearbox in the package as well.
Cheers!

Due to the lack of response, I've decided to keep the motor and rebuild it as my part-time long-term project. The whole engine package was dropped to around $350 for the complete package at one stage but still didn't sell.
Parts such as the loom and ECU have since been sold. The only things left for sale which I don't really need are:
FWD extractors
AE82 gearbox
TVIS components
Cheers.
